Who are we

Cupramontana Accoglie is an association, founded in 2003, which provides accommodation in the Marche to promote tourism in the area of Cupramontana, capital of the Verdicchio.

The association consists of touristic structures operating on the principles of green accommodation and rural hospitality; bed & breakfasts, agriturism, country houses and apartments.

This type of hospitality means a lot of human contact, strong ties with the land, regional traditions, the inherent cultural richness, local products and the eno-gastronomia. All members of the association promote rural economy, integrating this with a strong sense of rural hospitality.

A lot of them are also working farming businesses.

Our main local products are

Wine

The wine Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, compared with the "Classico" type, does not have any variation in its composition, colour or alcohol content. The essential difference is in the geographic territory that, compared with the Classico, is placed to the North, its taste can change according to the nature of the land, the micro climate and also the vineyard's particular position.

Olive Oil

The quality and the particular character of Marche's Extra-Virgin Olive Oil are a result of a combination of different factors: a variety of local products, that change from area to area, are added to the basic olive types of Frantoio and Leccino used for producing olive oil. Then there is the characteristic micro climate of Marche's region, the old agriculture techniques and, last but not least, the old-fashioned olive-press tradition which works hand in hand. The modern small machines that still crush the olives with old fashioned mill stones and use pressure for the extraction of the oil. The result is an olive oil which continues to win prizes and is recognised both nationally and internationally.

Honey

Le Marche is one of a few Italian regions where apiculture is widespread, using methods going back to ancient times and handed down from father to son with wisdom and passion.

This respect for tradition is also used in many other products which Le March is in a position to offer.

Most of them also have an agricultural farm and produce their own wine, oil, honey and many other typical products from the Colli Esini.
